This is a one-off little necklace. I love the look of raw amber, especially against gold or blackened silver.

In this case I have combined the deep glowing raw Danish amber with silver that has been patinated to look like black grey steel. I think it really makes the amber stand out.
The little silver discs are bits of cut off silver wire that has been repurposed. I melted it into nuggets, hammered them flat and drilled a hole through.
They are organic and rough in shape with random thicknesses. They intersperse the amber and roll with the movement of the wearer.
The beads sit on a crescent of silver with loops connecting to the chain - doesn't it look just like a Viking longship?

The chain has also been lightly oxidised before a thorough polish.

All the silver is sterling - at least 92.5% silver

The chain is 42 cm long with an added extender so adjustable from 17" to 19"- that includes the pendant and bolt clasp.

* Pendant 20 by 25 mm - that's 4/5 by 1 inches.
* Sterling silver cable chain - 42-47 cm long. 17-19".
* Raw amber form western Denmark 3 nuggets 7-12mm in diameter.
* Rustic sterling silver discs 6-8 mm in diameter.

This unique piece of jewellery will arrive in a gift box ready for giving.
